Sightseeing in Style

Who doesn't love a weekend getaway to a beautiful city? This past weekend Sunglass LA had the opportunity to
explore Seattle and see what the Emerald City has to offer. From Pike Place Market to the waterfront, we were
able to show off some of our most iconic styles, and see the city through our own lens.

P I K E P L A C E M A R K E T

Pike Place Market is one of the most well known attractions
in Seattle. From throwing fish, to enormous bouquets of
fresh flowers, home grown produce, and endless food
choices, this farmers market is a must when in the city.

Across the street from Pike Place you can find a long row
of shops ranging from bakeries, fresh produce, cheese,
and let's not forget about the long line to get into the
very first Starbucks.

W A T E R F R O N T

A place where you can find all the locals relaxing
and hanging out, the Seattle waterfront provides a
view unlike no other. With a hustling city right behind
you and calm water in front of you, the waterfront allows
you to peacefully enjoy time with others or by yourself.

There are endless opportunities for tourists and locals here.
From the Old Curiosity shop with odd, unique gadgets and
toys, to a ride on a ferry boat, the possibilities to enjoy a day
in Seattle by the waterfront go on and on.

Along the waterfront is the Seattle Great Wheel on Pier
57, which opened in June of 2012. Allowing people to
reminisce on their childhood while riding a giant Ferris
wheel and seeing an outstanding view of Seattle, nothing
can beat this 175 foot ride.

S P A C E N E E D L E

The most recognizable part of Seattle is the 605 foot observation tower that allows you to have a view of
the entire city. The artist, Edward E. Carlson, designed this space-age tower to be the center of the futuristic
21st Century themed World's Fair in 1962. Combining both an observation deck and a revolving restaurant,
the Space Needle is a landmark you must visit when in Seattle.

Living in the Pacific Northwest comes with getting to
experience the changing seasons. In the summer you
are able to wear shorts and tank tops just like California,
but the rest of the year usually requires layers. Seattle is
classic, timeless, laid back, and it is very evident in
their style. Many of our Pacific Northwest influencers
embrace this season- changing style.
